  1. A very humbling, erudite, unarmed dissertation from Matthew.

“Matt knows the truth is much more complicated, and that we all deserve the chance
    to work out for ourselves
    what a “good life” means.”

Getting to the bottom of all this is excruciating, (Matt) but, needs must and this is why I think we all need to read the following for which we need only our eyes…….

    a must read…

With thanks to Team Rxisk and Matthew.

  2. I found this very hard to read without feeling quite emotional. The photos added so much to the story too – bringing with them the reality of the facts that we were reading. Certainly a story that needs to be heard by as many of us as possible as Annie says.

  3. Matthew, you are an inspiration to all of us.
Disability does not define a person.
It is who you are that makes you unique : )
Your unique experiences have moulded you into the person which gives you the empathy and compassion to understand better what others go through especially, when it is concerning disability and pain.
Your story will enable others to appreciate that there is ‘light at the end of the tunnel’.
Some have it tougher than others however, resiliency is what pulls us through, in the end.
Your parents did the best they could do for you.
They were willing to go to the end of the earth and back, just to make your life somewhat better.
‘What amazing parents you must have!’ : )
I’m sorry, that others didn’t believe you when you were going through challenges.
I’m happy that they eventually came around and got the answers and did the right thing by you.
Embrace your journey and learn from your experiences.
As the some doctors will learn from yours.
I have no doubts in my mind that people who come in contact with you are in awe by your presence.
Your clients will benefit from someone who better appreciates pain/disability.
When you have empathy for someone, you uplift their spirits and release their heavy burden from their shoulders- this is a gift.
Keep shining your light Matthew and continue being an inspiration to us all.
Many blessings and hugs for you, Carla.
